Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of working for a private practice?

In a private practice, decisions can be made very quickly. You have access to the owner and decision makers. Your voice, your ideas, and your passions within our profession are heard!

Therapy Excellence has clearly defined Core Values. Our strategic decisions are grounded in these Core Values. If Pursuing Excellence, Being Purpose Driven, Leading with Compassion, Winning Together, Being Innovative, and Celebrating Growth resonate with you, this is the company for you!

We absolutely do! Our benefits and compensation packages include generous PTO, an annual stipend for continuing education, a robust mentorship program, an IRA plan fully vested from your first day of employment, Short Term Disability Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance, an Employee Work Perks program, a United Healthcare PPO medical insurance plan, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, and a profit sharing program.

Six times a year we bring our entire team together for a lunch and learn. Our Director of Clinical Excellence spends 4 hours, twice each week, floating to the clinics to provide case collaboration, practice of manual therapy skills, or discussion of journal articles. We have hosted an internal manual therapy course annually each of the last 3 years which has provided more than 30 hours of CEUs for participants. In the past two years we have hosted courses from the Institute of Physical Art and Evidence in Motion.

All full-time employees have 7 paid holidays each year. Therapy Excellence has a competitive time off accrual with 2 weeks (10 days) of PTO year 1, 3 weeks (15 days) years 2-3, 4 weeks (20 days) years 4-5, and 5 weeks (25 days) after 5 years of employment!

We want our therapists to provide the level of care they would want their loved ones to receive. We ask our therapists to see 45-55 patient visits per week. This is significantly less than most other physical therapy practices in our market.
