Jodi Blacketer

Jodi Blacketer
Therapy Excellence Owner and Operator
Jodi Blacketer is the founder and owner of Therapy Excellence. She is a Texas native and a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M University. Jodi earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 1999. Jodi has been a board certified specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy since 2005 and completed a residency program earning her manual therapy certification from the Institute of Physical Art in 2006. In 2015, Jodi became certified through Kinetacore to perform Functional Dry Needling.
When not working, she enjoys running, cycling, yoga, and spending time with her husband and children.

Dr. Jad Chatila grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and moved to Fort Worth during his years at Texas Christian University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science. Jad then moved to Lubbock, attending the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating in 2020 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Jad has since been working in the outpatient setting, but also has experience in the inpatient rehab setting. He enjoys treating extremity pain and recreational athletes, but also has a love generally for orthopedics. Jad is also certified in level 1 and 2 Dry Needling, as well as Modern Management of the Older Adult.
Outside of work, Jad is spending time with his family, friends, and dog Phyllo. He enjoys exploring different restaurants and coffee shops, but also enjoys being active and playing or watching soccer.

Caitlin Kelley attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree and graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2019 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Since graduating she has been in the orthopedic setting treating patients with compassion and care. She has been a member of APTA since 2019 and TPTA sections and is currently working toward her Dry Needling Certification.
She finds joy working with her patients and coworkers, and especially enjoys collaborating with patients to identify the causes for their pain and movement problems. Her passion is working alongside patients, allowing them to move better, become stronger, and improve their quality of lift.
In her free time, Caitlin likes to go bike riding, travel to new states, go hiking with her pyrenees doodle, and spend time serving at church.

Stormie Lee was born and raised in Abilene,Texas. She loved sports but excelled in soccer and track. Her love of exercise, sports, and overall health led her to pursue a career as a physical therapist. Stormie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas Tech University. She returned to Abilene to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University.
Stormie’s passion is Sport Performance Rehabilitation and she is currently a Certified Sports and Orthopedic Manual Therapist.
Stormie enjoys being outdoors, running, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs. Stormie also enjoys traveling and would like to visit each of the seven continents.

Quan Tran grew up in Carrollton, Texas. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science in 2013. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas in 2018.
Quan has a passion to keep learning and developing his skills in order to give his patients the best care possible. He enjoys working with all patient populations with most of his interests in the management and treatment of the lower extremities.
In his free time, he enjoys golfing, playing basketball, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks.
Zachary Woods

Zachary Woods was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2007, Zach journeyed to Waco, Texas to attend Baylor University. After graduating, he moved to Fort Worth to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. In his 7+ at Therapy Excellence, Zach has partnered with the company to open the Burleson, North Arlington and Grand Prairie clinic locations.
Zach is passionate about developing his practice to be the best physical therapist he can be. He specializes in Dry Needling, multiple manual therapy techniques, and became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the ABPTS in 2021. He loves helping patients achieve their goals and empowering his patients to take control of their health and achieve milestones they never thought possible. He believes that collaborative teamwork, a positive, encouraging environment and evidence based practice provides the optimal outcomes for his patients.
When not at the clinic, Zach is spending time with his wife, Clare and two children - Parker and Lucy. Zach loves to exercise, spend time outside, play golf and basketball, host trivia nights for his friends, and serve at his local church.
Derek Alexander

Derek Alexander was born and raised in Arlington, Texas. He developed a passion for sports, playing football, basketball, and track. A serious knee injury playing football as a high school senior, first exposed him to physical therapy and the rehab process and allows him to empathize with his patients.
Derek graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise in 2007. He then went on to Texas Woman’s University, where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. His passion for improving his clinical skills drove him to achieve an orthopedic certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, which he achieved in 2016. He then immediately entered their fellowship program, where he received advanced training in clinical reasoning and hands-on manipulative techniques, which he completed in March of 2020. He also achieved their highest-level orthopedic certification. He is also certified on Dry Needling.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, working out, fishing, and golfing. He is a passionate sports fan and enjoys talking to anyone about sports.

Kristi is a Texas native who has spent her career working in healthcare. Since she graduated from high school, Kristi has worked in offices specializing in hand surgery, gastroenterology, and physical therapy. These experiences have enhanced her understanding of patient care and clinic operations.
Kristi joined Therapy Excellence in 2017 taking the position of Business Office Coordinator in the Burleson clinic. She has grown with the company and now serves on the senior leadership team in the role of Director of Business Operations. Kristi enjoys working behind the scenes to support both patients and staff. She especially loves seeing patients succeed through the one-on-one care offered at Therapy Excellence.
Outside of the clinic, Kristi enjoys time with her husband, Colby, their daughter, Rory, their fur baby, Beau, and their extended family.

Clare Woods is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Therapy Excellence Physical Therapy, where she helps connect people, ideas, and strategy to support purposeful growth. An Orlando, Florida native, Clare grew up in a small-business household—an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for mission-driven work and strong company culture.
A Baylor University marketing graduate, Clare spent nearly a decade helping startup tech companies build momentum from the ground up. Her career gave her an up-close look at what it takes to build systems, develop teams, clarify goals, and create cultures rooted in clear values. During the pandemic, Clare left the startup world and joined her husband, Zach, in partnering with Jodi to bring her passion for strategic growth and authentic connection into healthcare.
Clare leads marketing and business development efforts by building strong relationships with referring physicians and providers, engaging the Arlington, Burleson, and Mansfield communities, and positioning Therapy Excellence as the physical therapy provider of choice in the area. She works closely with Jodi and Zach to intentionally grow the practice—combining strategic planning, creative thinking, and a personal touch. Clare believes the most successful businesses are built on authentic relationships and that business development is ultimately about helping those relationships thrive.
Outside of work, Clare is all about family time with Zach and their kids—cheering from the sidelines as a sports mom, training for half marathons, getting outdoors, diving into a good book, attempting to master sourdough, and hosting friends and family around her dinner table.
