Stephanie Beasley was born in Louisiana but grew up in Flower Mound, Texas. Throughout her childhood, Stephanie was a competitive dancer. Her ballet teacher was a physical therapy assistant which allowed her to educate Stephanie and other dancers on injury prevention, proper form, and basic anatomy during ballet class. This sparked Stephanie’s interest which led to her taking anatomy in high school and observing PTs in various clinical settings. After witnessing how physical therapy changed people’s lives, Stephanie decided to pursue it as a profession. She attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science then moved back to Texas where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.

Stephanie enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a special interest in treating dancers and other performing artists. During PT school, she had the opportunity to intern with the Performing Arts Medicine team at the Ohio State University’s Sports Medicine Institute. This internship further confirmed her passion for working with orthopedic patients, athletes and dancers.

During her free time, Stephanie enjoys taking group fitness classes and jogging along the Trinity River. When she can visit her family in Mississippi, she enjoys fishing with her dad and visiting with her grandparents. Football season is her favorite time of year, and she specifically loves to cheer on the Razorbacks – Go Hogs!

Stephanie practices in our Mansfield clinic.  To make an appointment with Stephanie, please call Therapy Excellence Physical Therapy at 817-483-1746.
