
Dr. Sara Navarro was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. She attended T. K. Gorman Catholic High School and found a passion in academics, athletics and the arts. Sara earned her Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience and Cognitive Studies at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi while competing in Track and Field as a hammer and discus thrower. She returned to Abilene, Texas to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with Hardin-Simmons University. Over the last few years, Sara practiced on the East Coast and earned her Fellowship of Orthopedic Osteopractic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) with Spinal Manipulation Institute in Columbia, South Carolina.
Sara shares a passion for orthopedics, sports performance, and women’s health and holds certifications in Dry Needling Levels 1-3, Spinal Manipulation, and POSE Running Method Specialist. Sara is also a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach.
Outside of work, you can find Sara spending time with family and friends, working out, enjoying music, painting, enjoying a local coffee shop, traveling, or finding a new recipe in the kitchen. Now, Sara is back in her home state and a proud member of the Therapy Excellence Team and serving as the Clinic Manager in South Arlington.
