Laura Flores

Physical Therapist
Laura was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from the Honor’s Program at the University of Houston with her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2015 and then immediately went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX in 2017. In 2018, Laura sought out an orthopedic specialization and attended UT Southwestern’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program where she received extensive training in treating patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions and chronic pain as well as had the opportunity to be involved in teaching current students and participating in research. Laura became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2019.
Since this time, Laura has enjoyed working in outpatient orthopedics focusing on giving patient centered care in order to partner with patients to empower them to achieve their goals and improve quality of life. Due to her passion for teaching, Laura serves as a Clinical Instructor to current doctorate students and works as Adjunct Faculty for Tufts University Hybrid DPT Program in Phoenix, AZ since March 2023. As Adjunct Faculty Laura travels to Phoenix a few times throughout the year to help teach DPT students their manual treatment and evaluations skills during their onsite lab immersions.
In her spare time outside of work Laura enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, hiking with her two rescue dogs, and spending time with her husband and son. Laura is excited to be able to provide high quality care as part of the Therapy Excellence team.
