Karan Kelly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1982 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1985. In 1996, Karan earned her Board Certification in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. She completed her training through the McKenzie Institute to become credentialed in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy for the Spine the same year. Karan has an extensive background in management, outpatient orthopedics, and occupational medicine. She is a member of The American Physical Therapy Association, The Texas Physical Therapy Association, and The McKenzie Institute. Karan’s treatment approach has always been focused on providing each patient with an individualized program including education, exercise, and manual therapy in order to assist the patient in achieving his/her goals.
When she is away from the office, Karan enjoys spending time with her family (especially game night), shopping with friends, binge watching Netflix, going to the movies, reading, Sudoku, and breakfast at Chick-fil-A.
