Charlie Nichols

Physical Therapist

Charlie Nichols was born and raised in Odessa and now calls Grand Prairie home. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University before earning his Master of Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.  Charlie recently completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Science degrees at Texas Tech University.  Charlie is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.  He is Board Certified in Orthopedics and has completed his Manual Therapy Certification through Evidence in Motion and the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. He is also Level 2 Certified in Functional Dry Needling.

Charlie’s primary interest is evaluation and treatment of orthopedic patients with a special interest in the management of neck pain and functional movement assessment. Outside of work, Charlie enjoys spending time with his wife and family, watching basketball, and traveling.
